Roskilde Warm-Up Events

Bevor es dann so richtig losgeht mit der Festivalsaison, präsentiert das Roskilde Festival erstmal am 19. April das komplette Programm. Und damit sich die Fans auch so richtig auf die Musik einstimmen können, gibt es insgesamt 3 Warm-Up Events in Skandinavien… genauer in Kopenhagen, Oslo und Stockholm. Aber lest selbst:

Denmark
ELECTRELANE (UK) + THE WHITEST BOY ALIVE (N/D) Thursday 19 April, Amager Bio, Copenhagen

Sweden
NEW YOUNG PONY CLUB (UK) + TAXI TAXI! (S) Friday 20 April, Södra Teatern, Stockholm

Norway
NEW YOUNG PONY CLUB (UK) + UNGDOMSKULEN (N) Saturday 21 April, John Dee, Oslo

Das sind die Termine und das schreiben die Macher zu den Bands (die im übrigen auch alle nochmal beim Festival spielen werden!):

ELECTRELANE (UK) play inventive alternative rock with elements of krautrock, greyish electronics and Sonic Youth.

NEW YOUNG PONY CLUB (UK) are a part of the British new rave explosion and call their music ’synth-rock played on guitars.’

UNGDOMSKULEN (N) play their own brand of Zappa-infused jazz-rock with traces of new rave.

TAXI TAXI! (S) are among the youngest acts on the festival programme and deliver fragile indie pop.

THE WHITEST BOY ALIVE (N/D) offer guitar-based disco-blues which everybody – regardless their degree of pasty skin – can hum and dance along to.
