Infos zum Mightysounds Festival

Mighty Sounds doesn´t belong to events which serve you the traditional fish and chips spiced up by some big foreign name. It tries to be a festival where high quality foreign performers get wide space and Czech bands must try hard to keep their place in the sun. On seven stages will perform almost 150 bands, around 100 djs, large number of theatre groups and a colourful palette of performers and workshops.

Preparations for the 5. jubilee year are running and confirmed bands appear every Sunday evening in short miniprofiles on the festival web.

Although is Mighty Sounds from a big part about ska, groups playing punkrock, hardcore, rock’n’roll, reggae, dancehall, rockabilly, soul, but also metal and hip hop have always since the beginning been an essential part of the festival dramaturgy. Three dj stages enrich the programme with drum'n'bass, breakbeat, jungle etc.
