The Eagles of Death Metal may be the most misleading bandname since 10,000 Maniacs. On their debut album, Peace Love Death Metal, the band sounds like neither The Eagles (a relief really…) nor death metal. Jesse „The Devil“ Hughes is assuming the guitar and vocal duties, Josh Homme (from Queens Of The Stone Age) takes over the drumming while Tim VanHamel from Belgian rock outfit Millionaire strikes the chords. The band is further proof of the fact that music doesn’t have to be ironic to have a sense of humour…
